JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR |
First introduced to Parelli at a tour-stop in October 2005, Zach Lahring was hooked! Totally fascinated by this demonstration of the horse-human relationship and deeply intrigued by their amazing communication, Zach's journey began.
He purchased a yearling filly, quickly progressed through Level 1 and continued to pass his Level 2 when Jazz was just 2 years old. He has since started several colts, re-started older challenging horses and is now competing in the American Ranch Horse Association, Ranch Rodeo, Extreme Cowboy, and Extreme Trail competitions with horses developed solely with Parelli techniques. He is a passionate student of Ranch Roping, Cutting, and Cow-working as well.
Zach greatly enjoys the challenge of competition. He gets excited when he has the opportunity to demonstrate the Parelli methods of a horse-human partnership that prove how "a horse will go faster, jump higher, and give more out of heart and desire than by fear, intimidation, or mechanics" to WIN! Zach has been successful in winning several competitions including the ACTHA Open Championship, the MTR Extreme Trail Rider Competition and the NVRHA Overall Champion in FL on his 5 year old partner, Dancer.
Zach resides in Grand Haven, Michigan and also has a residence in Louisville, Kentucky. He conducts Group and Private Lessons in both areas regularly. He returns bi-annually to the Parelli Centers to continue his education as well as his growth and development as a Parelli Professional.
Zach possesses natural talent in teaching and has an amazing rapport with the horse. He invites you to share in this incredible journey with him and discover a horse-human relationship you never thought possible. He can help you understand your horse and achieve the results you've dreamed of.
Zach looks forward to helping others join him in sharing Pat’s vision to make the world a better place for horses and humans and he encourages you to be a part of it!
