I started my Parelli journey in 2006, it was one David Grace clinic and I left my old life with the show world behind and moved forward to a natural future. I spent the next 2 years playing through my levels, until I finally made the "big trip" to Colorado where I spent 6 weeks in the Horse Behaviour and Liberty course. This was the deciding point for me to make Parelli my career.

Once I arrived home from Colorado I decided to apply for the internship with Kalley Krickeberg at Atwood Ranch Naturally. The next 6 months I spent under Kalley was one of those life changing moments. It was tough, it was full of personal development and the education I received was like no other. I am so thankful for so much one on one time, plus the variety of horses from foals to high profile performance horses that I had the opportunity to play with under her guidance. My next step in the Parelli journey was to spend a year heading up the Young Horse Development at Atwood, I was very thankful for the information I had already been given under Kalley, plus I had the help of Lillan as this was a huge 12+ months!

Suddenly I was in charge of a place that was home to 170 plus horses, including 30 weanlings plus 30 foals on the way. I had the opportunity to learn more than I thought possible through experiences such as; educating 60 young horses on feet prep and trailer loading. Also extensive vet prep with our incredible full time vet Dr Jessie, then over to helping an orphaned foal learn how to be introduced to his new mum and brother. Plus i learnt about slinging horses up to save their lives and what’s involved in detailed AI breeding! I learnt about moving cows with Ira Reid, and had many opportunities to be privy to Healthy Stride clinics with Jim Crew, and Parelli collection saddle fit with Tina and Letitia. We prepared weanlings/yearlings for some Savvy tour stops including taking 4 young horses to the Parelli Savvy Conference in 2010 (picture above)

Everyone's Parelli journey takes them to different places, I am glad I had the opportunity to spend so much time learning to appreciate foundation and young horses, I can't wait to take the next step and see where we go next.

Currently, I am back in America furthering my study under Pat, I am offering distance education while I am away, if you are interested in more information, please check out our website www.parelliprofessionals.com. It would be a pleasure to help people on their own incredible Parelli journey.
