Fawn Anderson

Fawn Anderson, a highly respected 3 Star Parelli Instructor, offers clinics, workshops, lessons and assessments. She primarily teaches out of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia in the summer but will travel to just about any part of the world. During the winter months she devotes 4-6 months to riding with Pat & Linda and teaching the 2-4 week courses in Ocala, Florida.

Fawn has over 19 years of experience riding and training horses and has devoted the past 12 years exclusively to the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program. She has spent many seasons at the International Study Centers in Colorado & Florida studying directly with Pat and Linda Parelli and is the only Canadian Instructor to have taught on Faculty at the Parelli Centers. In addition she has apprenticed under Ronnie Willis (one of Pat's mentors and a Master Horseman), and has studied Colt Starting and Foundation Training with Pat's most highly rated Horse Specialists. In 2009 Pat Parelli personally invited Fawn to join his Mastery Program, which is reserved for his best and brightest students. Fawn accepted and will be spending four months of every year apprenticing directly with Pat, riding and training his top horses in Florida and Colorado.

Fawn has a true appreciation for the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program. She was raised around horses using traditional horsemanship, competing at the top of her level in a variety of disciplines including dressage, jumping, roping, barrels and reining. But as the novelty of winning wore off, the reality that her horses (and her) were no longer enjoying themselves began to sink in. It was time for a change.

In 1997, while traveling and living in Australia, Fawn was introduced to the Parelli Program. It was love at first sight! After years of studying horsemanship under numerous traditional trainers and coaches, she had finally found a system that not only achieved results she had never dreamed of, but which made the horse the priority. She never looked back.

Fawn has become a highly skilled instructor through both her own experiences and extensive studies in teaching, adult learning and communication. Her unique and refreshing approach to learning allows students to achieve exciting results and accelerate their horsemanship in a safe and supportive environment.
