Ethan Zimmerman

I started riding horses as an adult when I met my wife Lorri, also a Parelli Instructor. When I first started spending time around horses, I had no idea what they were thinking or what motivated them. Through the Parelli program I have learned an immense amount about how horses think and about what motivates them given their individual horsenalities. My two horse partners are Sam, a 6 year old Appendix Quarter Horse gelding who is a LBI/RBI, and Cash, a 2 year old QH mare who is Left Brained all the way and has tremendous potential on trails and with cows.

This summer I rode Sam in his first cow clinic where I learned that he has a knack for moving cows. I also rode him in his first parade bareback and with a halter. He was fantastic among the huge crowds and balloons and screaming kids! I owe all of this success to Pat and Linda and to the Parelli program. I look forward to meeting future students and their horses and to making their dreams a reality.
