3 Star Instructor
Reynoldsville, PA
When I was five years old I got my first pony. That was the beginning of my life-long journey with horses.
Fifteen years ago I built my first indoor arena for my own personal use. It quickly became a facility for boarding, breeding and starting horses. I began developing Quarter ponies that did very well in the pony club and jumping circuits.
As a 4-H leader I found myself enjoying being able to help children and adults develop both themselves and their horses. I was inspired to seek a more complete understanding of horses and horsemanship.
In the fall of 1996 I found Parelli Natural HorseManShip. For the next few years I devoted myself to the program, progressing through the levels. In 1999 I was offered the opportunity to begin my development in the Instructors Program at Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I am now a licensed Parelli Professional 3-Star Instructor. I enjoy watching my students develop their own horsemanship skills and am pleased to see them excel with their own horses. A wonderful additional benefit is all of the new and lasting personal friendships that have been established over the years.
As I continue my journey in the Parelli Program, I am now focused on Level 4 Horsemanship. My current direction involves advanced dressage, reining, and driving. As the opportunities arise I am also refining my cow working, roping and jumping skills.
My new facility in Northwestern Pennsylvania
(Click here for directions) is a playground for both students and horses. We now have an indoor arena, large outdoor, round-pens, numerous obstacles to play with and trails to walk or ride through the woods with natural obstacles. I offer clinics, events, private lessons, ride with Gina days, workshops and play-days. As time allows, I am also available to start horses.
Please feel free to contact me to schedule clinics and workshops at your location.
Everyday I thank Pat and Linda for what their program has enabled me and others to achieve and the excitement of what is yet to come.
